Last night American Music Awards were once again held. This time Britney presented favorite female artist of soul/R & B. The crowd reacted like a nuclear weapon (sorry for the word use).



The night's winners were Rascal Flatts, the Black Eyed Peas and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Rascal Flatts took home two key awards (Top Country Group and Artist of the Year.) The Black Eyed Peas nabbed three (Favourite Rap/Hip-Hop Group, Favourite Soul/R & B Group and Favourite Rap/Hip-Hop Album). The Peppers won two as the year’s Best Rock Artist and Alternative Artist.

Shakira gets her own monument

Here it is, Shakira's own little statue in her hometown Barranquilla.. It don't look much like her though.

Shakira herself approved the statue: "It may sound egoistic, but I find it super, when one day I can go to the statue with my children and tell them "Hey, this is apparently your mother, but don't you think I look better in real life?".
The statue is made of iron and is 5 meters high, it weighs 6 tons. The iron for the statue was brought from Colombia to Germany. For the premiere, the statue was wrapped into paper and then the paper was burned off to reveal the statue.

IT'S Bride And Prejudice! Movie beauty Keira Knightley is getting married, the News of the World can reveal today.
The star is secretly planning to tie the knot with her actor lover Rupert Friend next year.
And the 21-year-old is desperate to copy Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes—who wed yesterday—by holding the ceremony in an Italian castle.
Keira, who has been dating her Pride And Prejudice co-star for nearly a year, spilt the beans at Lindsay Lohan's bash at London's Paper Club on Friday, organised by top party planners viewparties.com
One guest told us: "She looked radiant and seemed to want the world to know that she and Rupert had got engaged.
"She was kissing and cuddling him all night. They were with six friends and were obviously in a celebratory mood after getting through five bottles of Dom Perignon.

An insider said: "He realised the timing was perfect for him to pop the question. They went to Paris in September so Keira could discuss her new contract with Chanel and got caught up in the romance of the city.
"Keira's over the moon. Now she'll hopefully be able to concentrate on arranging her wedding."
Seems it was Keira's K-night on Friday despite Lindsay throwing the party at the Paper Club. Our source went on: "It looked like Keira was the one who had the better evening.
"She was caught up in her own little world. It was like an impromptu engagement party."
Last night the News of the World tried to contact Keira without success. Her brother Caleb declined to comment about marriage plans.

Britney Spears's post-breakup tour has taken her to Las Vegas – and she finally hit the town this weekend, winning big at the blackjack table and partying with Dancing with the Stars' Mario Lopez, sources tell PEOPLE.
After stops in New York and her Louisiana hometown of Kentwood, Spears, accompanied by her former manager Larry Rudolph, arrived in Nevada this week and kept a low profile before finally hitting the town on Friday.
Donning a disguise of a pink wig and big, dark sunglasses, Britney was spotted in the Palms Casino Resort Friday night chatting it up with owner George Maloof – this, after she and George went on a shopping trip to Caesars Palace's Forum Shops.
Also on Friday, Spears went into the Palms' recording studio with producer Lukasz Gottwald to mix tracks on her new album.
"She looks and sounds great," a source tells PEOPLE. "Her voice never sounded better. She's having fun. She's ready to kick a--."
Britney also did pretty well at the tables, gambling at The Mint, the Palms' high-limit lounge. There, Britney – wearing a short, black dress – caught a lucky streak, raking in $10,000 in winnings from blackjack.
She also was introduced to Mario Lopez at The Mint. The two, along with a small group, then headed up to Moon Nightclub and partied the night away.

(In fact, the reception is currently still in progress.) The following statement is from the couple’s rep:Rome, Italy (November 18, 2006) - Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were wed just after sunset today at Odescalchi Castle overlooking Lake Bracciano outside of Rome, Italy before more than 150 close family and friends.
The official wedding party included Cruise's children, Isabella and Connor. The Best Man was Cruise's best friend David Miscavige and the Matron of Honor was Holmes' sister Nancy Blaylock. Also in attendance were Holmes' two older sisters, her brother, her mother Kathleen and her father Martin Holmes, who walked her down the aisle, as well as Cruise's three sisters and mother Mary Lee South and Cruise and Holmes' seven month old daughter Suri. The traditional marriage ceremony was performed by a Scientology minister.
The bride carried a bouquet of flowers made by Giorgio Armani including calla lilies wrapped in leaves of galax and steelgrass while the wedding reception included colorful and elegant floral décor accented with red roses.
Giorgio Armani created unique custom-designed attire for the bride, groom, wedding party and immediate family.

For the wedding reception the bride wore an asymmetric champagne Giorgio Armani Privé evening dress of silk organza decorated in Swarovski crystal beads. The groom wore a two-button navy blue suit also made by Armani.
Holmes' and Cruise's wedding rings were made by Cartier and are white gold with diamonds.
Following the ceremony, guests were treated to cocktails featuring specially prepared Italian hors d'oeuvres followed by a multi-course meal. As the evening winded down, the bride and groom cut the five-tiered white chocolate wedding cake which was decorated with marzipan roses, and was studded with white chocolate chips and featured white chocolate mouse and white chocolate cream filling.
The couple was serenaded at the wedding reception with a special performance by world-renowned Italian vocalist Andrea Bocelli.
The wedding ceremony capped a three day celebration in which invited guests participated in a welcome dinner on the first night at Nino's Ristorante in Rome hosted by the bride and groom and a rehearsal dinner on the second night at the Villa Aurelia hosted by Martin and Kathleen Holmes.
Rome is where Cruise and Holmes' relationship first became public and holds particular significance for the couple.
As is customary for couples marrying outside of the United States, Cruise and Holmes officialized their marriage in Los Angeles prior to their departure for Italy.

Katie does some serious thinking. Seems like she is talking about some important topic. Hope she don't regret anything. I hope she is not crying, 'cause it looks like it. And if she is, I hope she is crying because of the immense happiness, I would. No, not that I would want to marry with Tom Cruise, but because of all the rich and fortune...and what a brilliant location. Oh my, that's never going to happen with me :(

Following on the heels of Katie and Suri's arrival at Odescalchi castle two hours prior (they're pictured here peering out the window of the castle), Tom Cruise pulled up just before 4 p.m. He was seen giving a wave, and the bells of the castle sounded on the hour. Meanwhile, PEOPLE's Galina Espinoza tells us: "They just started lighting candles at the top of the castle, all the way around. It's still bright out (the rain has moved on) but it's already beautiful -- it will be stunning once it gets dark!"

New film starring Jake Gyllenhaal

Yes, finally we can see the trailer.
Based on true events, THE ZODIAC is a psychological thriller detailing a string of gruesome murders in the Bay Area in the late 1960s and the impact on the victims, their families and the wider community. A small town cop (Justin Chambers) and his son (Rory Culkin) become obsessed with the Zodiac killer, endangering their family.
This film is not for and I seriously think once again, that Jake should do another drama, soon.

Mandy Moore is back

With her new album "Organic".

After spending the past several years focusing on acting in films like "Saved" and "American Dreamz," Mandy Moore is finishing her first new album since 2003's "Coverage," her last for Epic. Now signed to management powerhouse the Firm's label, Moore just finished recording at Allaire Studios in upstate New York with producer John Alagia.

"I'm so excited to be back and making music. It's my first love," Moore tells Billboard.com. "I've been really concentrating on movies for the last couple of years and the opportunities keep coming in, but I kind of believe everything happens for a reason. It's time to do this."

Within the last year, Moore has been contributed to five films, including the upcoming "Dedication" (with Billy Crudup and Amy Sedaris) and "Because I Said So" (with Diane Keaton). Ready for a break, she began co-writing music with pop singer Rachael Yamagata, as well as Boston duo the Weepies, Lori McKenna and Chantal Kreviazuk. The album will mark the first time that Moore has written or co-written every song. The track list is now being whittled down from 18 completed tracks.

"It means a lot to me to make something that's mine. It's a passion project. It won't matter if it doesn't sell tons or have this high level of success," she says of the as-yet-untitled album.

The 22-year-old star struck gold in the studio with Alagia, who has helmed the boards for efforts from John Mayer and Dave Matthews Band. "John is my new favorite person," she enthuses. "He knew what kind of record I want to make. Nothing is going to be overly-produced. It's going to be very organic and fresh. Very nice-sounding."

One of Moore's goals for the album was to have a product that sounds just as good live as it does on record. She says early in her career, most of her live performances consisted of opening for groups like the Backstreet Boys in venues that lacked intimacy.

"Now, it feels like there's more at stake for me -- a chance to feel vulnerable and make a whole new introduction to people," she says. "And I'm excited to become a headliner." She hopes to tour in smaller theaters and "cool clubs," beginning around the release of the album, and her birthday, in April.

Not another divorce again, oh my.

Chris Robinson has filed for divorce from his wife of nearly six years, actress Kate Hudson.
Powerhouse disso-queen lawyer Laura Wasser filed papers Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Robinson's behalf, citing "irreconcilable differences." The couple, who married in December of 2000, has a two-year-old son named Ryder. Robinson is seeking joint custody. As for financial matters, TMZ has learned the couple has a prenup and that Robinson is not seeking spousal support.
Robinson and Hudson announced their separation back in August 2006. At the time, rumors swirled that Hudson was romantically involved with her "You, Me, and Dupree" co-star, Owen Wilson. Both Hudson and Wilson have denied that they're an item.
Robinson's lawyer, Laura Wasser, is also repping Britney Spears in her divorce from Kevin Federline.

Hollywood writes: Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are just the latest in a string of celebrity couples to marry in the picturesque lakeside town of Bracciano, Italy.
Cruise, 44, and Holmes, 27, will marry on Saturday in the town's 16th century medieval Castello Odescalchi after a 19-month courtship.
CNN journalist Christiane Amanpour married former State Department spokesman James Rubin in the castle in August 1998, which was attended by the late John F. Kennedy, Jr. and his wife Carolyn Bessette.
Italian pop heartthrob Eros Ramazzotti and new wife Michelle Hunziker also had their wedding reception in the castle.
Twenty-eight years ago, legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese made Isabella Rossellini the third Mrs. Scorsese in the town. Rossellini grew up in Rome and had fond memories of Bracciano as a child.
As far back as the 1940s, celebrities were tying the knot in the town--original Zorro star Tyrone Power wed Mexican beauty Linda Christian there in 1949.
However, Bracciano may not be a good-luck charm for Holmes and Cruise--three of the four previous famous stars to marry in the town have divorced within four to six years later.
