Fast Food Workers Not Pleased With Federline Ad

Members of the National Restaurant Association in the US are furious with Kevin Federline for appearing in a commercial demeaning fast food workers.
Britney Spears' estranged husband recently taped an ad for Nationwide Insurance, which shows him daydreaming about being a rap star, but really working in a fast food restaurant.
Representatives from the organisation say the ad, which is set to debut during the Us Superbowl broadcast next month (Feb07), is "demeaning and unpleasant" to the nation's restaurant workers.
Spokeswoman Annika Stennsson insists the ad could have been done differently telling PageSix.com, "A sudden change in Federline's career could have been depicted with him holding an unemployment benefit check. It shouldn't be necessary for a company to disrespect others to get its point across. It's a negative, unfair and inaccurate reflection.
Nationwide spokesman Eric Hardgrove hits back at the claims saying the ad isn't meant "to offend or insult the many fine individuals who work in the restaurant industry."
He says it's a "humorous take on one person's life. The focus of the ad is the element of surprise, not the setting of a fast-food restaurant."

Anne Heche Leaves Hubby for Co-Star!

Sources tell ET that ANNE HECHE has left her husband, COLEY LAFFOON, for her "Men in Trees" co-star JAMES TUPPER.
Heche's rep confirms that she and Laffoon have separated. The two were married in 2001 and have a son together. The rep issued this statement: "Actress Anne Heche and her husband Coleman Laffoon have decided to separate after five years of marriage. They have requested that they be allowed their privacy at this time."
A spokesperson for her "Men in Trees" co-star confirms that Tupper and his wife split in November, but would not speculate on the on-set romance.
The two are currently in production in Vancouver on the hot show, which just got a new time slot after "Grey's Anatomy" on Thursday night.
Back in July when ET first interviewed the two co-stars on the set, they were already each other's fans.
"James Tupper is the leading man on this show, and if I did not get involved with him on the show, I'd be very disappointed," Anne said.
James commented, "I'm a really big fan of Anne's -- she's just wonderful." MORE

European men are flocking to Bulgaria to buy 'breast-boosting beer' after EU accession led to customs duties on the drink being abolished.
The millet-ale called Boza which is made from fermented wheat flour and yeast is being snapped up by bar owners, shopkeepers and shoppers from across Europe.
They are said to be keen for their wives and girlfriends to benefit from its reported ability to make women's breasts grow.
Constantin Barbu crossed the Danube from Romania to buy Boza in the Bulgarian border town of Ruse.
He said: "I've bought a case for my wife to try out. I really hope I see an improvement."
And Austrian landlord Klaus Schmidt from the ski resort of Schladming said he was planning a trip soon.
He added: "I had heard of Boza before but it was always so expensive once the tax was added. But now that's gone I'm going to start offering the drink to my après-ski customers."

Heigl Slams Co-Star over Homophobic Slur

Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl has slammed co-star Isaiah Washington for using a homophobic slur at the Golden Globes on Monday night.
The actor tried to set the record straight regarding reports in October he got into a scuffle with Patrick Dempsey after Washington allegedly used a homophobic slur toward their co-star T.R. Knight.
After a reporter questioned him on the validity of the on-set incident, Washington denied his involvement saying, "No, I did not call T.R. Knight a faggot. Never happened, never happened." READ ON

The new year has put Britney Spears in a charitable mood.
The 25-year-old pop star had just withdrawn a large amount of cash from an ATM on Wednesday, and was stopped at the L.A. intersection of La Cienega Boulevard and Third Street when a homeless man approached her vehicle.
“Britney rolled down the window and handed the guy $300,” says the source. “She said, ‘Good luck and happy new year!’ The guy almost had a heart attack.”
Adds the source, “Britney wants to do good — for herself and the world. That’s what she’s all about.”

Weird people!

I don't get people. They get a chance to hang around Britney and they are like...duh - sad, unhappy and whatever...and even crying!!? If I would be Brit's friend or bodyguard (which is unlikely) I would be like all over the place :S even if there were like thousand of paparazzi. And now let's all say - happy f*cking new year! Hey y'all! Britney Spears was caught by paparazzi, playing what appears to be a totally new song from her upcoming album, while waiting behind traffic lights in her car. The paps were getting really annoying, asking for all kind of questions rather then just taking the damn photos already, and then Brit decided to put some music on. So glad she did it.

"I worked hard up until Christmas with all the preparations for the 'Strictly' shows and I even shot the video for my next single in out in February," Bunton writes. Spears & Federline Agree on Kids Custody--For January

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have agreed to share custody of their sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston, for the remainder of January.
Spears has agreed to let her estranged husband have physical custody of the boys every Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon at her home.
Under the arrangement, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Spears will be allowed to be present for her husband's playtime with his kids--but she won't be able to prevent him from seeing the boys, aged one and four months.
In return for his estranged wife's custody terms, Federline has given Spears permission to take the children to Florida for a week.
The pair is expected to use the month as a testing ground for future custody arrangements. They will decide on custody matters from February and beyond later this month.
Spears and Federline split in November, two years after they exchanged vows.

Sorry to say, but I am so not a fan of this look. The haircut just don't look right and that outfit is waay too black. But the good thing is that she is working very hard on her new album, which will be out later this year. For Lindsay, New Year starts with surgery

People reports --- Lindsay Lohan had surgery to remove her appendix on Thursday.
"She does have appendicitis, and she is getting her appendix removed," her rep, Leslie Sloane, told PEOPLE Thursday afternoon. "She will be going in shortly."
The 20-year-old actress was reportedly diagnosed after feeling ill on Wednesday.
"I'm shocked," a friend of the actress tells PEOPLE. "I talked to her last night and she told me she was not feeling well but she thought it was a 24-hour-flu."
This is not the first health scare for Lohan. She fractured her wrist in September after a fall at a party in New York City, and was hospitalized in July after becoming "overheated and dehydrated," Sloane said at the time.
