In a poll taken by its clients, UK's NetFlix-like service LoveFilm.com determined that the thirsty-for-it kiss between Gyllenhaal and Ledger in the gay-cowboy love story Brokeback Mountain, is the number-one favorite on-screen kiss of all time. Hugh Grant and Jemima Khan split

British actor Hugh Grant and his girlfriend Jemima Khan have split up after almost three years together.
Grant's publicist Robert Garlock said the split was amicable and the decision had been taken in the last few days.
Grant, 46, and Khan, 33, the daughter of Sir James Goldsmith, began dating after the end of her marriage to former Pakistani cricketer Imran Khan.
Music and Lyrics, Grant's latest film, which also stars Drew Barrymore, topped the UK box office chart this week.
The split comes days after Grant and Khan, who has two children, attended US and UK premieres of the film.
A spokesman for Grant and Khan said: "It is an entirely amicable split but both regard it as a private matter and will not be making any further statements."
Grant, who shot to fame in romantic comedies including Four Weddings and a Funeral and Notting Hill, has never been married.
He previously had a long-standing relationship with actress and model Elizabeth Hurley.

"I've given up—I can't go on."

Barely two-days before she was found dead in her hotel suite, Anna Nicole Smith told a pal during a distraught phone call that she could no longer “go on”.
The pal revealed that the former Playboy pinup had been in a “terrible state” when she rang her friend, and was distraught.
"Anna was in a terrible state. She said, ‘I've given up—I can't go on,'" the News of the World quoted the friend, as saying.
The friend revealed that what made the call even more ominous was that Smith “seemed different”.
"You always knew with Anna that life was never simple. But this time she seemed different. And I was really afraid for her," the pal said.
"I kept saying, ‘Anna, babe, you are not going to do anything stupid. Anna, please be careful.'
"She said, ‘I will, honey, I will'. But I was seriously worried she didn't mean it this time. She'd been self-destructing for years with all the drugs she was taking. She wanted to die."
Smith’s pal also revealed that the model was on anti-depressants Xanax and Prozac plus slimming pills and strong pain-killers.
"She took the anti-depressants just so she could get up in a morning and she didn't always take them according to the directions. She'd just slug a couple down if she was getting anxious," the pal said.
"And she had a lot to be anxious about. Things had really started to pile down on top of her and physically her body had begun to act strangely. She'd complained of flushes and said her heart was all over the place—racing and then slowing.
"The doctors told her to stop taking the drugs to see if that stabilised things. She didn't though. She couldn't cope without them.
"In the last few weeks she'd become very withdrawn and quiet—almost childlike. She told me time and again that even though she had a new-born baby she had nothing to live for.
"She kept saying, ‘What is there for me? What is the point of going on?' I remember saying, ‘Come on—what about your baby? She needs you more than ever.' Anna said, ‘I know, I know. But it's hard'.
"I don't know if Anna committed suicide, but I do know that she wanted to die. I think maybe her body just said, ‘I've had enough'" the friend revealed.
Smith’s body is currently being kept at the Broward County Medical Examiner's Office.

Kate Winslet Finds Ultra-Thin Stars 'Unbelievably Disturbing'

Kate Winslet considers images of "size zero" models and actresses "unbelievably disturbing," she says – and she keeps magazines with those pictures out of the house, where they could be seen by her 6-year-old daughter, Mia.
"It's only a matter of time before she becomes aware of it and it frightens the life out of me," the 31-year-old star of The Holiday said on BBC One's Sunday AM program.
"It's so disturbing, because young girls are impressionable from 11 up to 19 or 20, even. Women are very impressionable at those ages," she said. "They're trying to figure out who they are, and they want to be loved, and what I resent is that there is an image of perfection that is getting thinner and thinner, and it's truly upsetting to me."
Winslet is not the only one to speak out against the tendency among models and celebrities to be extremely thin. In September, the organizers of Madrid Fashion Week banned models below a minimum body-mass index, and the death of model Ana Carolina Reston last month from anorexia heightened awareness of the trend's very real dangers.
Winslet did speak admiringly of actresses Emma Thompson and Meryl Streep, saying "their faces move."
Besides Mia, whose father is Winslet's first husband, Jim Threapleton, the actress and her current husband, director Sam Mendes, have a son, Joe, who turns 3 on Dec. 22.
"I hope that in some small way I'm able to say 'I'm a normal person, I'm doing all right, I've got a lovely husband and children and I didn't lose weight to find those things, and those things are what should be important,' " Winslet said.

Vickie Lynn Marshall

Vickie, better known by her stage name Anna Nicole Smith died on 8th February due to overdose. Her son, Daniel Smith, died on September, 2006 in his mother's hospital room while visiting her and his newborn sister.
Now in the news, it is stated that Anna's son grave is now marked with fake headstone, read more here. That is such a shame. It is also believed that Anna wanted it to be like that, because she was enraged, when her mother and ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead visited Daniel's grave two weeks ago on Daniel's 21th birthday. And read some more here about Anna's mother talking about these tragic events.

I know it's not my business, but I would have probably agreed with Anna's mother. She really lead a crazy way of life and her son, very much influenced by his surroundings, suffered under a great depression. RIP to both of you.

And here's a short video of these two together. You can see that Daniel was actually very shy and very uncomfortable with cameras. It is such a shame that he had to leave so early.

Martinez's Mum Still Loves Minogue

OLIVIER MARTINEZ's mother was devastated when she found out her son had split from longtime girlfriend KYLIE MINOGUE because it was like losing a daughter.
Minogue, 38, and Martinez, 41, recently announced they were ending their romance after nearly four years together.
Martinez's mother, ROSEMARY, says, "It's very sad. Kylie was like a daughter to us. Olivier is upset."
A source tells Us Weekly magazine, "They fell out of love. They'd argue whenever they saw each other."
Another source adds, "It was complicated. They had been trying to end it for a long time."
Rosemary insists the split will remain amicable adding, "We wish her all the best, as does Olivier. We will all be staying in touch."

Natalie Portman Eyes Screen Version of Israel Book

Hollywood actress Natalie Portman has expressed interest in directing a film version of Israeli writer Amos Oz's internationally acclaimed autobiography, a production spokesman said on Thursday.
Portman, 25, who is best known for her starring roles in the recent Star Wars trilogy, may also act in A Tale of Love and Darkness if it is brought to the big screen, Jerusalem Capital Studios spokesman Danny Levy told Reuters.
"JCS has met with Portman to discuss the possibility of her participating in and directing a film version of the book," he said.
A Tale of Love and Darkness describes Oz's upbringing in Jerusalem amid the fighting during which the Jewish state was founded. Israeli media said Portman was interested in playing Oz's mother, who committed suicide when the author was a youth.
Portman was born in Jerusalem and speaks Hebrew. In 2005 she appeared in Free Zone, a road movie by Israeli director Amos Gitai that explored the tensions between Arabs and Jews in the Holy Land.

Britney Spears’ boyfriend has pulled the plug on their relationship, sources tell OK!
Model Isaac Cohen broke the news to Britney during a long-distance phone call on Sunday evening while she was in New York and he was in Los Angeles.
“They are no longer an item,” Brandi Lord, Isaac’s agent at L.A. Models, confirms to OK!
The pair met through Britney’s choreographer and began dating in mid-December. It was the singer’s first real romance since she filed for divorce from Kevin Federline on November 7 last year.
For a while Britney and Isaac were regular feature of the LA party scene. Last month they spent a romantic weekend together in a $40,000-a-night suite at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
With Britney, 25, in New York on business, Isaac has been staying with friends and caring for Snow White, Britney’s teacup Chihuahua.
According to a friend of Isaac, 25, he has been “looking to get out of the relationship for a while.
“It was a bit much for him,” the friend tells OK! “There was a lot of drama – it was too much of a whirlwind. It wasn’t one thing in particular.
“Her likes her. They had a good time together. He was doing his best to help her out – but there is only so much one person can do.”
What’s next for Isaac? “Hanging out with the guys and riding his dirt bike,” says the friend.
“He’s focusing on his career – working and going out on castings.”

Parents are finally waking up and realize bad girls like Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan are a bad influence on America's girls, a new poll reveals.
The poll, which was conducted for Newsweek, found that 77% of respondents believe the underwear challenged trio and other young starlets in Hollywood have way too much influence on girls - very little of it for the better.
The drinking, fighting, car-crashing and private-parts baring behavior of Tinseltown's trio of tarts is only adding to a "Girls Gone Wild" effect in the U.S., poll respondents tell the magazine.
Eighty-four percent said sexuality plays a bigger role in American popular culture than it did 20 or 30 years ago and seven in 10 said that was a bad thing, according to the poll.

Katie Holmes fell in love with Tom Cruise when the two met to discuss a film, and the actor shook her hand for the first time.
The former Dawson's Creek star and Cruise married in a fairytale wedding in November and she gave birth to the couple's daughter, Suri, in April.
She tells Harper's Bazaar about the pair's first date, saying it was, "In Los Angeles, my first motorcycle ride...to the beach. It was amazing and fast.
"I was in love from the moment that I shook his hand for the first time."
The 28-year-old, who is stepmother to the Mission: Impossible star's other children, Connor and Isabella, claims she loves her new life.
She adds, "I have a husband and children that I adore. I have a career that I really love. When I sit back and reflect, it's--wow! I am very grateful.
"Tom makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world and has since the day I met him. I love being with him. I love calling him my husband."
